At the table today we played with playdough. We had fun making cookies, flowers, worms and snakes. During center time we opened up our sensory table which had colored corn kernels in it. There were measuring cups and regular cups in with the corn to scoop and dump. Our math and science center was also popular today, some of us played a math game with a dice and plastic peanuts. We worked on taking turns with peers to roll the dice as well as worked on counting peanuts to put in our cup.

Today we colored underneath the table! We laid on our back underneath the table and colored on paper that was taped to the table. This activity is great to build strength in our shoulders, which leads to increased fine motor strength.
We painted shapes at the table today. Some of us used paint brushes while others used hands! Once the shapes were covered we just painted on the table and loved every minute of it! At circle we played a shape matching game. We rolled a large dice that had shapes on it and then found the matching shape on the floor and threw a bean bag on it. This was a multi-step activity and was extra fun because we got to be up and moving.
We searched for button shaped in thera putty today at the table. It was fun to see what we could fine hidden in the gooey feeling putty! During circle we played a shape lotto (BINGO) game and worked on identifying shapes. We made it outside to the playground just in time today, it began raining on our way inside. In our dramatic play we area we grocery shopped with a grocery list we made.
